The following 11 photos of dinosaurs have been taken at the Park im Grünen, the former Grün 80 Park, in Münchenstein, Switzerland. The site of the photos is located at the south of the swiss town Basle.

The dinosaur with a long neck is a seismosaurus, which means earth quake saurian. Its name is due to the fact that this 40 tons monster did shake the earth around him when walking. The seismosaurus is either very similar or even identical to the better known diplodocus. A seismosaurus hallorum has been found in 1979 in New-Mexico, USA. A large part of the body and of the tail bones and a small part of the neck bones have been found in late Jurassic layers. It is admitted that the length of a seismosaurus was between 32 and 49 meters.
