The following 12 lake photos have been taken at the lake of Geneva in Switzerland.

The lake of Geneva, Lac Léman, is situated between Switzerland and France in the Alps. It is the largest lake in western Europe.

The north coast and small parts of the south coast belong to Switzerland. The major part of the south coast belongs to France. The width of the lake between Lausanne (Switzerland) and Evian-les-Bains (France) is about 15 km.

The wallpapers presented on this page mostly picture paddle steamers and other ships of the CGN - Compagnie Générale de Navigation sur le Lac Léman - the shipping Company of the Lake of Geneva.

In the summer season the ships are often crowdy. A circular tour of the whole lake takes about one full day.
