The site of the photos is located near the Sense Canyon, between Bern and Schwarzenburg in Switzerland.
The region of the river Schwarzwasser is a wonderful location for hiking in the swiss Mittelland.
The river Schwarzwasser has been much less affected than the river Sense by the flood of August 2005. Nevertheless you can see a few minor differences on photos from before and after the flood. The photos are just 2 weeks away from each other.
